A few minutes ago, the Israeli broadcaster KAN has announced that Eden Alene will represent Israel at Eurovision 2021.

Eden Alene is a 19 years old singer who meant to represent Israel at Eurovision 2020 with the song “Feker Libi”. However, as we all know, Eurovision 2020 is canceled.
Israel had originally planned to hold a national selection towards Eurovision 2021, but the cancellation of Eurovision 2020 changed the planning.
The format of choosing a song for Eurovision 2021 is yet to be discussed.
