Last year, Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið won the national final – “Söngvakeppnin 2020” with the song “Think About Things“
On the 23rd of October 2020, the Icelandic broadcaster RUV confimed Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið as the reprsentatives for Eurovision 2021 in a mechanism of internal selection.
