Azerbaijan opened song submissions on 19th August 2021 to submit the songs for Azeri entry for Junior Eurovision 2021 and deadline was until 10th September 2021.
We learned some new details what the song will be for Sona Azizova to represent her nation at JESC 2021.
One of details that will be 60% Azeri language and 40% will be in English.
Isa Malikov said:
”Both Azerbaijani and foreign composers can send their songs to the selection stage. We have no limits on the subject of the song”.
Sona Azizova expressed her wishes that she would love to sing a song in the rock genre.
Its still unclear when Azerbaijan entry will be revealed but hopefully new details on that will be released soon.
