Ireland: As Submission window Closed, Irish HOD Reveal Unveils More Details for Eurovision 2022

During the Eurovision podcast, Euro Trip Irish Head of Delegation Micheal Kealy has confirmed that 320 songs have been submitted to RTE to represent Ireland at Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

Ireland will return the national selection for a 6-year absence. The last time The Late Late Show was used was when Molly Sterling won the selection and represented Ireland at Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

Grand Final of The Late Late Show will hold a special episode for Eurovision to select Irish entry for Eurovision 2022 in early 2022 possibility late February/early March with singers competing live and winner will be determined with the involvement of the public.

Lelsey Roy represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song ”Maps”.
