As always, Finnish broadcaster YLE has tried to keep the names of the participants secret.
However, there are no more secrets!
7 artists will compete in “UMK 2023” and these are:
- Keira – No Business On The Dancefloor (will be released on January 12th)
- Benjamin Peltonen – Hoida mut [Eng: Keep it] (will be released on January 13th)
- Robin Packalen – Girls Like You (will be released on January 16th)
- Lxandra – Something To Lose (will be released on January 17th)
- Käärijä – Cha Cha Cha (will be released on January 18th)
- KUUMAA – Ylivoimainen [Eng: Overpowered] (will be released on January 19th)
- Portion Boys – Samaa taivasta katsotaan [Eng: We look at the same sky] (will be released on January 20th)

“UMK 2023” – Known Details
- “UMK 2023″ will be held at Logomo, Turku, on 25th February 2023.
- 7 artists will compete in “UMK 2023“.
- The songs will be released once per day, starting on the 12th of January 2023 (not during the weekend)
- The results will be determined by a combination of public voting and an international jury.
- Samu Haber will host the show.
- Katri Norrlin will be the music reporter
