After 2 semi-finals,12 finalists were annouced for Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023.The artists will now compete in final on 12th of August 2023. where the winner will be determined by 80% jury voting and 20% public televote.

In September 2023 Maltese broadcaster will lauch the search for the Maltese song for Junior Eurovision 2023.Composers and songwriters will be invited to submit songs for the winning artists perform.The winning song will be announced on 15th September 2023.
Gaia Gambuzza represented Malta at Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song ”Diamonds In the Skies’‘. She came in 16th place with 43 points.
Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place on 26th November 2023 in the Niece,France.
