Last Friday, Moldovan broadcaster TRM revealed that 51 entries were submitted for the national selection this year.
A jury panel assigned by the national broadcaster listened to the songs, and chose some of the artists to make the cut for the live auditions for “Etapa Națională 2024”
Some of the artists have submitted more than one entry.
TRM released the list of 32 songs that have qualified for the live auditions round:

Etapa Națională 2024
- “Etapa Națională 2024″ will be held on Saturday, the 17th of February 2023.
- Moldovan selection will include 3 phases:
- Round 1 – The national jury will evaluated the submitted entries and will shortlisted some of them.
- Round 2 – The shortlisted artists will perform their songs as live auditions. They will be ranked by a jury panel. The top 10 ranked artists will process to the last round. Auditions will be held no later than the 13th of January 2024.
- Round 3 – A televised show where 10 artists will compete to represent Moldova at Eurovision 2024
- Traditionally, the results of the final are determined by a comnibation of 50% national jury and 50% public vote.
Pasha Parfeni represented Moldova at Eurovision 2023 with the song “Soarele şi Luna“.
He ended up in 18th place in the final, with a total of 96 points:

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
