Spanish broadcaster RTVE has revealed additional details regarding “Benidorm Fest 2024”:
The Hosts
3 Spanish stars will host the festival this year:
- Ruth Lorenzo – Represented Spain at Eurovision 2014 and finished in 10th place
- Marc Calderó – Spanish journalist and TV host
- Ana Prada – Spanish TV host will be in charge of the green room
The Stage
The stage area is estimated in 581 squares meters. The stage features an LED screen in its center.
Both the stage and the LED are of an oval shape.
It is made up of two fundamental parts: the central circular area, which includes a large circular screen on the floor, and two side tunnels that connect to the rear part of the stage (backstage)
The Jury
8 experts will be part of the jury panel for this edition of the festival:
- Beatriz Luengo (Spain) – Head of Jury
- Carlos Baute (Spain) – Spanish-Venezuelan singer, composer, actor and presenter
- Guille Milkway (Spain) – Singer, DJ, composer and music producer
- Ángela Carrasco (Spain) – Singer-songwriter, actress and singing teacher
- Nicoline Refsing (Denmark) – Artistic Creative Director, part of Eurovision 2014 creative team
- David Tserunyan (Armenia) – Head of Delegation, Former JESC Executive producer
- Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen (The Netherlands) – Head of Delegation, Former Head of Contest
- Lee Smithhurst (UK) – Executive producer for Eurovision 2023, Head of Delegation
