The Results
The results were determined in 2 rounds:
- Round 1: The results were determined by a 50% public vote and a 50% jury vote (10 Danish members and 10 international ones). The top 3 acts will advance for the super final.
- Round 2: The public voted for the top 3 acts.
The top 3 acts (super-finalists) were:
- Saba – Sand
- Basim – Johnny
- Janus Wiberg – I Need Your Love
After casting the votes of the 2nd round, the results were:
| Draw | Artist | Song | Jury | Televoting | Total | Place |
| 1 | Saba | Sand | 22 | 15 | 37 | 1 |
| 2 | Basim | Johnny | 15 | 19 | 34 | 2 |
| 3 | Janus Wiberg | I Need Your Love | 13 | 16 | 29 | 3 |
It was a really close superfinal, but the numbers spoke for themselves!
Therefore, Saba will represent Denmark at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Sand”
Last year, Denmark sent Reiley with the song “Breaking My Heart”, but he did not manage to qualify for the finals, falling short with only 6 points and 14th place in the semifinal.
What do you think about Denmark‘s choice for Eurovision 2024? Will Saba be able to bring the country back to the finals for the first time since 2019?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
Denmark will compete in the first half of semi-final 2
