Switzerland is finally breaking the silence and disperses the fog around the Eurovision 2024 representative.
As it has been revealed at the “Late Night Switzerland”, the Swiss artist and song for Eurovision 2024 will become known on upcoming Thursday, the 29th of February at 11:00 CET.
The reveal will be made via the official YouTube channel of the Eurovision Song Contest
Yves Schifferle, the head of the Swiss delegation for Eurovision has also added that it won’t be a make ballad this time (in contrast to 2020-2023).
Swiss Internal Selection for Eurovision 2024 – Known Details
- Around 420 songs were submitted to the selection process this year
- On the 5th of December, 5 final artists recorded their live performance at The SRF studios, Zurich.
- A jury of professionals and an international audience panel listened to the 5 final songs and ranked them.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, some local media channels has already speculated that the selected artist might be Nemo.
He is a 24 year old Swiss singer, who mainly created pop, rap and hip-hop music.

What are your expectation from Switzerland at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
Switzerland will compete in the first half of semi-final 2.
