Italy: Annalisa Wins “OGAE Second Chance 2024”

The annual “OGAE Second Chance” was also held this year.
Each year since 1987, Eurovision fan clubs that belong to the OGAE network vote for their favorite national final songs that haven’t had the opportunity to shine on the Eurovision stage.

This year, 16 OGAE clubs competed in the “Second Chance” contest.
OGAE members voted for the songs and determined the results.
16 entries were chosen among the countries that held a national selection for Eurovision 2024 (that’s why countries like Israel, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Austria, and didn’t take part in the line-up).

  14. 🇱🇹 Lithuania – Shower – “Impossible (8 points)
  15. 🇺🇦 Ukraine – Ziferblat – “Place I Call Home (6 points)
  16. 🇵🇹 Portugal – João Borsch– “..Pelas Costuras (6 points)

As you can see, Italy won the contest by a gap of 112 points!

This is the 4th time Italy has won the contest, and the 2nd time that Annalisa has been crowned as the winner.
