Just a few days before Junior Eurovision 2024, the Head of the French delegation for Eurovision, Alexandra Redde-Amiel gave an interview to Eurovision quotidien
During the interview, Alexandra revealed that French Television will give the first official details regarding Eurovision around the end of December 2024 – beginning of January 2025.
She added:
Several questions arise for Eurovision 2025. Expectations are high and the stakes are high. If we want to win, France must be extremely mobilized and our teams focused on the objective. What I can say is that there will not be an announcement as early as last year
The selection method for Eurovision 2025 is still unknown.
Over the years, France has experienced both internal selection (2016, 2017, 2020, 2023, 2024) and national selection (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022).
Both of them led to mixed results.
Slimane represented France at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Mon Amour”.
He finished 4th with 445 points
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
