Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne closed the submission window for “Vidbir 2025” (the national selection for Eurovision 2025)
Tina Karol, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2006, will be the musical producer of “Vidbir 2025”
National broadcaster Suspilne revealed that a total of 374 songs were submitted for “Vidbir 2025“.
232 solo artists and 72 bands applied for the selection this time, some of them with more than one song.
Th majority of the applications came from artists who live in Ukraine, while the the rest came from artists who live in the USA, Germany, Poland, the UK, France and Sweden.
The professional jury will listen to the submitted songs and will select up to 20 songs to advance for the live auditions.
Thereafter, 9 artists will be shortlisted to participate in the national final. The public will be able to grant a wildcard to additional artists among the 11 remaining artists.

- The winner will be determined by a combination of public vote and local jury panel.
So far, Ukraine is the only country which has always qualified for the final!
Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Teresa & Maria”.
They finished in 3rd place with 453 points
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
