Greece: The National Selection Will Be Held On January 29th

Greek broadcaster ERT has announced more details regarding the national selection format for Eurovision 2025.
A total of 187 songs were submitted to the national selection, a track-record compared to recent years.

Greece’s National Selection For Eurovision 2025

1. The national final will be held on Wednesday, the 29th of January 2025.
2. Up to 12 songs will be selected to compete in the national selection. An additional 3 songs will be selected as backups.
3. A jury panel of 5 members will shortlist the submitted songs.
4. The results will be determined by a combination of a 50% public vote, a 25% national jury vote and a 25% international jury vote. The results will probably be converted to a fixed point-system.
5. In case of a tie, the televote will determine the results.

In recent years, Greece has used internal selection for most of the cases.
In some cases, shortlisted acts have been revealed (like in 2023), while in other cases (like 2024) ERT has announced the chosen acts.

Marina Satti represented Greece at Eurovision 2024 with the song “ZARI”.
She finished in 11th place with 126 points
