This morning during “Rīta Panorāma” Latvian broadcaster LTV announced semi-finalists who will participate in Supernova 2025.
Since the submission window has closed, LTV revealed that 96 songs were submitted for the national selection. Last year, LTV received 15 more songs than this year.

Songs will be revealed on Spotify and the official Supernova YouTube Channel on the 4th of December 2024. However, some of them have already been released

- KATRINA GUPALO participated in “Supernova 2024” with “The Cat’s Song“
- Marta competed in “Supernova 2019“
- Markus Riva competed in “Supernova” on many occasions between 2015 and 2024.
“Supernova 2025” – Known Details
- A panel of professional jury members (both from Latvia and foreign experts) shortlisted the songs.
- The semi-final will be held on Saturday, the 1st of February 2025.
- The Final will be held on Saturday, the 8th of February 2025.
- The results of each show will be determined by a 50% jury vote and a 50% public vote
Dons represented Latvia at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Hollow”.
He finished in 16th place with 72 points
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
