Today Italian broadcaster RAI confirmed that Italy will participate at upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025. RAI confirmed to Eurofestivales that it will participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025. RAI did not reveal how the Italian representative for Junior Eurovision 2025 will be chosen but in the last two contests, RAI selected a participant from ”The Voice Kids” to send to Junior Eurovision.
This year Italian version of ”The Voice Kids” won Melissa Memeti who expressed interest to represent Italy in Junior Eurovision but still unclear if she will represent the nation.
Simone Grande represented Italy at Junior Eurovision 2024 with the song “Pigiama Party” and they placed in 9th place with 98 points.
Currently in Junior Eurovision 2025 countries confirmed participation are:
- Georgia
- Italy
- Netherlands
- North Macedonia
- Poland
- San Marino
Andria Putkaradze sang ”To my Mom” where he got 239 points and Georgia won the Junior Eurovision 2024.Its still unclear where Junior Eurovison 2025 will be held but the date and location to be announced.
