Norway: “Melodi Grand Prix 2025” Participants Have Been Revealed

As almost always, Norway will select its Eurovision entry and artist via the traditional selection process, “Melodi Grand Prix”.

Today, NRK held a special press conference where the 3 hosts presented “Melodi Grand Prix 2025” artists.

Among the participants, we can find:

• 2 former Eurovision participants: Bobbysocks (who represented noway in Eurovision 1985) and Wig Wam (who represented the country in Eurovision 2005).
• Tone Damli who participated in “Melodi Grand Prix” in 2009 and 2020
• Kyle Alessandro particiapted in “Melodi Grand Prix 2023″, as part of the group Umami Tsunami
• Nora Jabri has participatd in “Melodi Grand Prix 2012″.

Melodi Grand Prix” 2025 – Known Details

1. “Melodi Grand Prix 2025” will include one show only. The final will be held on the 15th of February 2025, at the Oslo Spektrum (the same venue where Eurovision 1996 took place)
2. 10 artists will compete in the selection.
3. Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom, and Markus Neby will host the show. Marte hosted the “Melodi Grand Prix” in 2012.
4. The entries will likely be released independently by the artists in January 2025.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
