Watch Tonight 01/02/2025: Belgium, Slovenia and Spain Select For Eurovision 2025, Semi-Finals in Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden

We are about to enjoy an exciting night (or Super Saturday) of national selection for Eurovision 2025. 6 countries will broadcast live shows tonight: Belgium, Slovenia, and Spain will select their entries for Basel, while Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden will broadcast semi-finals of their national selections.

The Format

  1. Raiven and Štras will host the show.
  2. The results will be determined by 2 rounds:
    • Round 1: 12 artists will compete for 2 spots in the super-final. The results will be based on a 100% jury vote.
    • Round 2: The top 2 artists will face a public vote.
  3. In the final, the 5 jury panels will be involved, each of them consisting of 5 members:
    • OGAE Slovenia
    • Music Jury
    • Television Jury
    • Radio Jury
    • International Eurovision influencers
  4. The jury will rank the songs in the range of 1-8, 10, and 12 points.

The Format

  1. The selection process will feature 5 semi-finals and a final.
  2. 9 artists will compete in each semi-final (besides semi-final 2) with 2 of them qualifying for the final.
  3. The dates of the shows will be as follows:
    • Semi-Final 1: Saturday, 11th of January 2025
    • Semi-Final 2: Saturday, 18th of January 2025
    • Semi-Final 3: Saturday, 25h of January 2025
    • Semi-Final 4: Saturday, 1st of February 2025
    • Semi-Final 5: Saturday, 8th of February 2025
    • Final: Saturday, 15th of February 2025
  4. The semi-final results will be based on 50% jury votes and 50% public votes.
  5. A public vote will determine the winner of the final.
  6. Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė and Rimvydas Černiauskas.
  7. The final will occur in Lithuania’s largest arena: Kaunas “Žalgiris”.

  3. A public vote will determine the results of the semi-finals
  4. 6 artists will take part in each semi-final. The top 2 will qualify for the final.
  5. The artists who finish in the 4th, 5th, and 6th place (in each semi-final) will be eliminated.
  6. At the end of the 5th semi-final,
  7. The highest-scoring 3rd-place song (out of a possible 5) will get a ticket to the final
  8. The remaining 4 artists will face additional voting rounds. The winner will qualify for the final.
