A few days ago, French Television revealed that Louane will represent the country in Basel
This is how the singer revealed the news, tagging the French Head of Delegation in the post:
As in previous years (excluding 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) the French broadcaster selected the song and the artist for Eurovision via an internal selection.
Last year, France was the first country to reveal its song for Eurovision, as the song was released in November 2023.
However, this year, the national broadcaster chose a different approach: France will be one of the last countries to reveal its entry for Eurovision 2025!
Louane will reveal her Eurovision 2025 song via a live performance which will take place on March 15th at the Stade de France, at half-time of the Six Nations Tournament match between France and Scotland.
Who is Louane?
Anne Edwige Maria Peichert (better known as Louane) is a 28-year-old French singer and actress.
She broke through in 2013 after taking part in “The Voice of France“, where she reached the semi-finals.

It is unknown when her Eurovision 2025 entry will be released.
