As always, Sweden will hold “Melodifestivalen” as the national final to select both the artist and the song for Eurovision.
30 artists will take part in “Melodifestivalen 2025″.

“Melodifestivalen 2025” – Known Details
- Tonight’s show will be held at the Husqvarna Garden in Jönköping
- Keyyo and Edvin Törnblom will host the show.
- 6 artists will take part in the 5th semi-final. The top 2 will qualify for the final.
- The artists who finish in the 4th, 5th, and 6th place will be eliminated. The 3rd place will qualify for the second chance round.
- At the end of the 5th semi-final,
- The highest-scoring 3rd-place song (out of a possible 5) will get a ticket to the final
- The remaining 4 artists will face additional voting rounds. The winner will qualify for the final.
- A public vote will determine the results of the semi-finals
- 12 artists will make it to the final, where the results will be based on a 50% public vote and 50% international jury vote.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025
