The 8th day of rehearsals for Eurovision 2025 has just begun.
Today’s performances will be from the 6 automatic qualifiers taking the stage for the 2nd time: Spain, Italy, Germany, UK, France and Switzerland

#1.🇩🇪 Germany: Abor & Tynna – Baller
- The performance has changed since the national selection.
- Their main prop is an 80s-style boombox stereo, with a central platform. The design is around 3 meters in height.
- Tynna is wearing black military-style hot pants and knee-high military boots, a black crop top, and elbow-length leather gloves. Abor is by the cello. They are accompanied by 4 dancers on stage.
- The performance commenced with Abor playing a white electric cello lit by neon lights. He is sitting on a chair. One of the staging elements is a long curtain that goes from the ceiling to the floor.
- While hearing the bass playing, the curtain opens and reveals Tynna and the dancers. Tynna is standing on the mentioned platform during the first verse and first chorus.
- Thereafter, she descends to join her dancers who light her up with handheld spotlights.
- Among the effects, we can see diagonal smoke jets.
- The LED walls present “BALLER” in black font, as well as pulsing white and blue strobe lights.
- In the last verse and chorus, Tynna dances on the walkway, as Abor plays his cello on top of the boombox.
- The performance ends with the boombox exploding alongside fireworks.
#2. 🇫🇷 France: Louane – Maman
- Louane is alone on stage. She is barefoot and wearing a long, black lace dress.
- The main element is a circle covered is sand in the middle of the stage. The sand drops down slowly and continuously on one side of the circle, with a spotlight on her.
- Later, she kneels and clears some space in the sand to reveal a mirror.
- The lighting builds with the orchestral strings, and the drum starts to pound through the floor like a heartbeat until the camera pulls back for a final backlit wide shot.
#3. 🇬🇧 UK: Remember Monday – What The Hell Just Happened?
- The performance tells the story of the mourning that comes after a chaotic night.
- The girls are wearing a Bridgerton-like corseted dresses: Lauren in pale blue, Holly-Anne in pink and Charlotte in yellow, with lots of flounces and sparkles.
- The first verse is located in a boudoir/bedroom.
- As the first chorus starts, they walk down the catwalk and reveal the mess from the previous night
- The main prop on stage is a big chandelier about 3 meters high. It has crashed down to earth, and candles surround its outside. It is lit in various neon colors.
- The camera artwork is diverse, including short films focused on the chandelier, the room, and the girls
- In the final chorus, they are singing and located through the heart-shaped hole in the boudoir screen.
- The performance will feature pyro effects as well.
#4. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: Zoë Më – Voyage
- The staging is intimate and creates a cinematic atmosphere.
- Zoë is wearing an off-the-shoulder black silk dress with abstract floral red, blue, and purple prints.
- What’s special about the performance is the camera shots and the simplicity. We won’t find props or LED lights, nor dancing or additional people on stage.
- The performance is filmed on a full-frame cinema camera, like in the 1970s movies.
- She begins the performance while sitting on stage, surrounded by dark lights.
- In the bridge, smoke, wind, and stark, overexposed flashes fill the stage, but the camera shots are continuous.
- The idea is that the arena audience will lit the stage with their phones.
- The performance ends in an intimate moment, where the scene is once again dark.
#5. 🇮🇹 Italy: Lucio Corsi – Volevo essere un duro
- The performance will feature on-screen English subtitles, so non-Italian speakers will be able to understand the message.
- Lucio is wearing a giant-shouldered yellow bolero jacket and is accompanied by Tommaso on stage. Lucio’s face will be covered by white makeup.
- The performance starts with Lucio sitting by a long piano, while Tommaso in on the guitar.
- Later on, Lucio takes his guitar and moves to the center of the stage.
- The staging relies on 3 main props – Two retro speakers (One of them is bigger and square) and a sepia filter. The filter enables to apply of brown and white effects for the screen viewers.
- There’s also a live instrument appearance: Lucio will play the harmonica, while being in the front frame stage with Tommaso
#6. 🇪🇸 Spain: Melody – Esa Diva
- The staging has changed significantly since “Benidorm Fest 2025”.
- Melody is wearing a black corseted bodice with a long train, pointy bits on the shoulders and hips, a black fedora, and black thigh boots.
- Beneath that, she is wearing a shiny silver bodysuit heavily embellished with crystals, sequins, and rhinestones. The outfit featured a deep plunging choker neckline and structured shoulder design
- She is accompanied by 2 female dancers and 3 male dancers.
- The main prop on stage is a huge downstairs structure with nested squares on top. In the beginning, it is covered with a red curtain.
- Initially, she appears on a white background, while her shadow is bold and black.
- The performance aims to tell a story in 3 parts. Each part has its own roles, rules, and message. In all of them, the performance relies on Melody’s charisma.
- The first part is purple-themed, the second one is red-themed, and the last one is mainly white.
- The song ends with a white light that illuminates the LED mountains. The last 10 seconds rely on a dance break.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025.
