For the 4th year in a row, Serbia will select its Eurovision entry via the national selection “Pesma za Evroviziju”.
The Serbian broadcaster RTS revealed the first details regarding the selection process.
“Pesma za Evroviziju 2026” – Known Details
- The submission window will close on November 10th, 2025.

- The submissions will be made online at https://www.pze.rts.rs
- In case the selection committee isn’t satisfied with the quality of the submissions, they might select another song inependently.
- The selection committee, composed of music and industry experts, will shortlist the list of submitted songs.
- The winner will be selected by 50% public vote and 50% national jury vote.
- At least 51% of the song lyrics must be in one of Serbia national languages.
- The main performers must be Serbian citizens. The composers and song writers can be of any nationality.
- The entry must contain complete information about the authors and performers of the composition: song title, lyrics, biographies, photographs, social media details of the performer, contact address, telephone number, and e-mail.
A few months ago, Olivera Kovacevic, The Executive producer of “Pesma za Evroviziju“, was fired from RTS. The main reason was her support for the ongoing student protests in the country.
