Meet San Marino’s Rising Star: Martina CRV
At just 12 years old, Martina CRV (Martina Cervellin) is already a seasoned performer ready for the global Junior Eurovision stage. She’s been diligently studying guitar for five years, taking singing lessons for three, and is also a self-taught pianist. Her dedication to music was formally recognized in 2024 when she earned a diploma with distinction in both singing and guitar from the Trinity College of London exams. Italian audiences will recognize Martina from her successful run to the semi-finals of The Voice Kids Italy in 2023. Furthermore, her talent has been celebrated internationally, where she secured the prestigious title of Best European Junior Singer 2024 at the European Tour Music Fest.
“Beyond The Stars”: A Song for Tbilisi
Martina was selected internally by the Sammarinese national broadcaster, SMRTV, following a competitive casting process held in August. Her song, “Beyond The Stars,” is poised to be a captivating entry, crafted by a highly experienced creative team:
- Elisa Gaiotto (Eliza G): An Italian singer and songwriter, known for her previous Eurovision selection participation.
- Karin Amadori: Singer and songwriter.
- Paolo Signanini (SaintPaul): Producer and DJ.
- Valerio Carboni: Composer and cinematographer.
With this blend of emerging vocal talent and veteran songwriting experience, San Marino is looking to make a strong statement at their fifth appearance in the contest.
Looking Ahead to Tbilisi 2025
San Marino’s return to Junior Eurovision in 2024 after a long break showcased their renewed commitment to the contest. With Martina CRV and her song “Beyond The Stars,” the nation continues its journey of nurturing and promoting young artists on an international scale.
Martina’s blend of technical skill, stage experience, and a fresh, promising song gives the microstate every reason to dream of a top result in Georgia this December.
We wish Martina CRV the very best of luck as she prepares to take us all “Beyond The Stars” in Tbilisi!
