  1. A combination of an international jury and public vote will select the “UMK 2026” winner. Based on previous years, the ratio is expected to be 75% public and 25% jury vote.
  2. The guest performers will be: Erika Vikman, JJ, Sissal, Sonja Lumme, Turisti, Averagekidluke, Ares, and Elastinen

  1. The competition will consist of 6 shows: 5 semi-finals and a grand final.
  2. 30 acts will compete in the semi-final, and 12 of them will qualify for the final.
  3. The dates and host cities will be as follows:
    • Semi-Final 1: January 31st, 2026 (Linköping)
    • Semi-Final 2: February 7th, 2026 (Göteborg)
    • Semi-Final 3: February 14th, 2026 (Kristianstad)
    • Semi-Final 4: February 21st, 2026 (Malmö)
    • Semi-Final 5: February 28th, 2026 (Sundsvall)
    • Final: March 7th, 2026 (Stockholm)
  4. 2 acts will qualify from each semi-final to the final.
  5. The semi-final results will be based on the public vote only.
  6. The overall number of votes will determine the first place. The second place will be determined by aggregation of different age groups.
  7. The 3rd-placed teams in the semi-finals will proceed to the qualification round (second chance). 2 of them will get a ticket to the final.
  8. The final results will be based on 50% public votes and 50% international jury.
  9. The show will conclude with granting 2 wildcard tickets to the final. The 5 candidates are:

The Format

  1. Dara will perform 3 new original songs
  2. A jury panel of 10 members will vote for each song. Each member will rank each song in the range of 1-3 points.
  3. The overall jury points will be converted to 3 points for the first place, and 1 point for the last place.
  4. The public votes will also be converted in the same way.
  5. The highest scored entry will be chosen as Bulgaria’s entry for Eurovision 2026.
  6. In case of a tie, the entry with the higher public ranking will be at an advantage.
  7. The show will feature several guests, such as Senhit (San Marimo 2011, 2020, 2021) and Eva Marija (Luxembourg 2026).

  3. The vote will be based on the vote of 20 international jury members from 20 different 20 Eurovision countries (Austria, Armenia, Belgium, Czechia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and Ukraine)
  4. The top 3 acts will proceed to the super-final.
  5. The public will select its winner from among the top 3.
  6. The format is similar to last year’s format, but with a much more diverse jury panel.

  1.  Andrea Bocelli, Caterina Caselli, Pooh, and Max Pezzali will perform as internal acts.
  2. The results of the final will be based on 2 rounds:
    • Round 1: 34% public vote, 33% press jury, 33% radio jury, combined with the results of nights 1,2,3.
    • Round 2: The top 3 acts in the overall ranking, will qualify for the super-final. The results will be based on previous round results (including the past nights) and the new round of voting.
  3. The winner will get the first right to represent Italy in Eurovision 2026.

  2. The results of each show will be based on a 50% public vote and a 50% jury vote. The voting system will be a fixed points-based (12, 10, 8, 1-6 points)
  3. In the semi-finals, 4 acts will be selected based on a 50% public vote and a 50% jury vote. An additional finalist will be selected from among the remaining based on a 100% public vote.

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
