Eurovision Song Contest Asia has found its first hosting duo! Woody Milintachinda and Cindy Bishop will present the inaugural competition, welcoming viewers to One Bangkok Forum in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Thailand’s Channel 3 and Voxovation announced the presenters on 25 September 2026 as preparations continue for a debut edition featuring 11 participating countries.
Meet Woody Milintachinda
A familiar face in Thai entertainment, Woody is a presenter and interviewer known for Woody Talk, where he has welcomed international personalities. His connection to music extends beyond television: he founded the S2O Songkran Music Festival, bringing Thailand’s festive spirit to audiences internationally. He also co-founded the wellbeing platform Dragonfly.
Meet Cindy Bishop
Cindy is a model, actress and presenter with more than 30 years of entertainment and fashion experience. International audiences may recognise her from hosting Asia’s Next Top Model, seasons four to six. Fluent in English and Thai, she also serves as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific, advocating for gender equality and against gender-based violence.
Which countries and artists are taking part?
The inaugural contest’s lineup comprises Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
As of the morning of 27 September 2026 six artists have been confirmed, with four competing songs already selected:
- Bhutan: Nyendra- “Lhayi Semo“
- Laos: Thinla – “BAE“
- Malaysia: Aina Abdul– TBA (To Be Announced)
- Philippines: CARMELLE – “Sobra-Sobra“
- South Korea: JUNHEE – “DEEP DIVE”
- Vietnam: Tóc Tiên-Song to be chosen on 3rd October 2026
What’s next in schedule ?
Grand Final will take place on 14th November 2026 and will be aired on official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
