Polish broadcaster TVP confirmed that the country will participate in Eurovision 2027.
It was also confirmed that Poland will select its act for Eurovision 2027 via a national selection: “Krajowe Preselekcje do Eurowizji”
“Krajowe Preselekcje do Eurowizji” – Known Details
- TVP opened the submission window, which will remain open until November 15th, 2026
- The professional committee will evaluate which songs meet the criteria.
- Another professional committee will evaluate which songs are suitable. The evaluation process will last between November 17th and 30th, 2026
- Up to 20 artists will be invited to perform their submitted songs in live auditions. The auditions will take place on December 17th, 2026, at TVP’s Warsaw studio.
- Between 7 and 10 artists will be selected to participate in the final of “Krajowe Preselekcje do Eurowizji”. TVP will also select up to 3 reserve songs.
- The final will be held around January/February 2027 and will be broadcast as a TV show
- The winner will be selected by the public via SMS voting. However, TVP may announce an additional voting method before the voting begins, in accordance with the EBU regulations and principles for Eurovision 2027.
Jacek Dybowski may be in charge of the selection process, as in the last 2 years. Dybowski has been involved in the television industry for over three decades. His work includes producing Poland’s largest music festivals. He has been responsible for the Polish performances at the Eurovision Song Contest since 2024.
