Greek media, and mainly EurovisionFun, report that 6 artists are currently in the race to represent Cyprus in Eurovision 2027.
The artist selection process is based on proposals from the main record labels that recommend artists.

The Artists

#1. Evangelia

Evangelia is a well-known name in the Greek music industry. The singer has competed in both the Greek and Cypriot Eurovision selections.
Evangelia competed in “Sing For Greece” in 2025 and 2026.
In 2025, she performed “Vále” and finished 2nd in the final. In 2026, she competed with “Paréa” and placed 4th in the final.
The singer was also in the race to represent Cyprus in Eurovision 2026, but eventually Antigoni was selected.

#2. Charis Savva

Charis Savva is mainly known for her Junior Eurovision linkage. In 2008, she represented Cyprus on home soil at Junior Eurovision. She performed “Gioupi Gia!” together with Elena Mannouri, and they ended 10th in the final:

#3. Anastasios Rammos

Anastasios Rammos is a well-known Greek singer-songwriter. He has also written songs for other artists. Reports say Anastasios was about to apply for the Greek selection but ultimately chose the Cypriot path. He is mostly recognized by rock genre songs.

#4. Josephine

The singer is well-known in the Eurovision fandom due to her interest in the Eurovision Song Contest.
She was born in Greece to parents of Lebanese and German descent.
In 2014, she participated in the Greek national final and finished 4th.
Last year, she was one of the final 8 candidates to represent Cyprus in Eurovision.

In 2021, she released a Greek cover of “Mata Hari” (Azerbaijan‘s entry for Eurovision 2021)

#5. Katerina Stikoudi

Katerina Stikoudi is a 41-year-old Greek singer, model, and actress.
So far, she has played in dozens of films and TV shows and has released 6 albums.
Last year, she was one of the final 8 candidates to represent Cyprus in Eurovision.

#6. Giorgos Perris 

George Perris is a 43-year-old Greek-French singer who performs in multiple languages: English, Greek, French, and Spanish.
He comes from a classical music background (like jazz), but also performs pop music.
So far, he has released 10 studio albums.
The singer was one of the final 8 candidates to represent Cyprus in Eurovision 2027.

The Selection Process

Cyprus will select its Eurovision 2027 in 2 phases:

1. A professional committee, assigned by CyBC, will be in charge of selecting the artist for Eurovision 2027.
2. The national broadcaster will announce an open call for songs. The song selection hasn’t been finalized yet. with 2 options regarding the song selecton:
   1. Internal selection of the song
   2. A televised show where the chosen artist will perform between 3 and 5 songs. The final song will be chosen by a combination of jury votes and public votes. In this case, it will be the first time Cyprus chooses via national selection since 2015.
