Luxembourg Song Contest 2027: 821 Songs Submitted For Eurovision 2027

The Luxembourgish broadcaster RTL will use “Luxembourg Song Contest 2027” as the selection process for Eurovision 2027.
This year, submissions are split into 2 paths: one for artists and one for songs.

As the song submission period closed, it was revealed that 821 songs were submitted for national selection. The majority of them (more than 500) were submitted in the last 2 weeks of the submission window.
This is a record number of submissions for the Luxembourgish selection.

A panel of music experts and Eurovision enthusiasts will assess the submitted entries.
The 3rd phase (following the shortlisting of the artists and the entries) will be the matching workshop, where each artist will be matched with the song that fits them best.
Thereafter, the artists will perform the chosen songs, and will be finally shortlisted by an expert jury.

Two weeks ago, RTL Luxembourg announced the names of 12 artists who advanced to the next phase.

  1. Carmen Luisa
  2. Clement Lerat
  3. Debbie M
