Malta: Changes in the “MESC 2025” Line-Up

As in previous years, Malta opts to select its artist and song for Eurovision via the national selection “MESC” (“The Malta Eurovision Song Contest“).
Last week, the national broadcaster arranged a special press conference where the 24 artists (alongside their song titles) who will compete in “MESC 2025” have been revealed.

However, one of the contestants was disqualified: Alexandra Alden violated the selection rules, as her song “Magnolia” was released before the selection (in 2023!).
Therefore, PBS has decided that Dario Bezzina ft. Żeppi l-Muni will take her place with the song “Għażliet”
