Maltese broadcaster PBS revealed that Malta will choose its Eurovision 2026 entry via “MESC 2026” (The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026)
“MESC 2026” – Known Details
- The submission window will open on November 17th and will close on November 23rd, 2025.
- 18 artists will be shortlisted to participate in the national selection.
- The selection will feature a semi-final and a grand final.
- On December 1st, the list of 18 semi-finalists (and their song titles) will be revealed.
- The semi-final will take place on Thursday, January 15th, 2026.
- The final will take place on Saturday, January 17th, 2026. 12 artists will qualify for the final.
- The results will be based on public vote and jury votes.
- Earlier this summer, a songwriting camp took place, where some artists and writers collaborated on songs.
Miriana Conte represented Malta in Eurovision 2025.
She performed “Serving” and ended 17th in the final:
Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
