Ukraine: Anka Is the Winner of “Vidbir 2024” Wildcard

Ukraine will choose its Eurovision 2024 act via the national selection “Vidbir 2024“.
The national selection will be held on Saturday, the 3rd of February 2024.
Per the professional jury vote, 10 artists have already secured their spot in the final:

  1. Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil — Teresa & Maria
  2. Drevo — Endless chain
  3. INGRET — Keeper
  4. Mélovin — Dreamer
  5. Nahaba— Glass
  6. Nazva — Slavic English
  7. Skylerr — Time is running out
  8. Yagody — Tsunamia
  9. Yaktak— Lalala
  10. Ziferblat — Place I Call Home

However, the public had the opportunity to grant one additional spot in the final.

Ukrainian broadcaster Suspline announces results of the wildcard round: ANKA gets the highest number of votes, with around 26.78% of the votes.


Therefore, ANKA is the 11th finalist of “Vidbir 2024” with the song “Palala”

“Vidbir 2024” – Known Details

  1. Vidbir 2024” will be held in February 2024.
  2. Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne received a total of 389 songs, from 288 different artists (222 solo singers and 66 bands/groups/duos). More than 15% of the artists submitted at least one song.
    57.5% of the songs were submitted in Ukrainian, 33% of them in English, 9% of them in bilingual and the rest (0.5%) in other languages.
  3. The results will be determined by a combination of a 50% public vote and a 50% national jury vote.
  4. The results of the wildcard round will be published on the 29th of December 2023.
  5. As in previous years, the public will choose the members of the national jury.


Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-final will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11h of May 2024
