As always, Sweden will hold “Melodifestivalen” as the national final, to select both the artist and the song for Eurovision.
30 artists will take part in “Melodifestivalen 2025″. Today, we found out the running order of each semi-final:

“Melodifestivalen 2025” – Known Details

1. A total of 2,794 songs were submitted to the national selection.
2. The professional committee shortlisted 30 songs to compete in the live shows. Some of them will be chosen from the applications, while others will be from artists who have received invitations from SVT.
3. The selection will feature 5 semi-finals and a grand final:
   1. Semi-Final 1: Saturday 1st of February 2025, Luleå (Coop Norrbotten Arena)
   2. Semi-Final 2: Saturday 8th of February 2025, Gothenburg (Scandinavium)
   3. Semi-Final 3: Saturday 15th of February 2025, Västerås (Västerås Arena)
   4. Semi-Final 4: Saturday 22nd of February 2025, Malmö (Malmö Arena)
   5. Semi-Final 5: Saturday 1st of March 2025, Jönköping (Husqvarna Garden)
   6. Final: Saturday 8th of March 2025, Stockholm (Strawberry Arena)
4.  Keyyo and Edvin Törnblom will host the show.
5. 6 artists will take part in each semi-final. The top 2 will qualify for the final.
6. Unlike previous editions, the songs will be released one day before each semi-final (and not just snippets!)
7. The artists who finish in the 4th, 5th, and 6th place (in each semi-final) will be eliminated.
8. At the end of the 5th semi-final,
   • The highest-scoring 3rd-place song (out of a possible 5) will get a ticket to the final
   • The remaining 4 artists will face additional voting rounds. The winner will qualify for the final.
9. A public vote will determine the results of the semi-finals
10. 12 artists will make it to the final, where the results will be based on a 50% public vote and 50% international jury vote.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
