Israel selected its artist for Eurovision 2026 via the final of “Hakohav Haba La’Euorvision 2026” (Eng: The Rising Star For Eurovision 2026).

Assi Azar and Rotem Sela hosted the show.
The regular studio panel members are: Keren Peles, Shiri Maimon, Eden Hason, Itai Levi, and Assaf Amdursky.

The Artists
4 artists qualified for the final:

The Results
First Round
- In the first round, each one of the 4 artists performed the first cover.
- Each jury member ranked his/her top 4 in the scale of 6-12 points.
- The public voted online via KAN app.
- The final score was composed of 50% public vote and 50% jury vote
The top 3 artists were: Gal (72 jury points), Noam (68 jury points) and Shira (62 jury points)
Second Round
In the second round, the three super-finalists performed an additional song. The voting lives were reinitiated.
The jury and the public each granted 180 points.
The final results:
- Noam Bettan: 192 points (72 jury, 120 public)
- Gal De Paz: 94 points (60 jury, 34 public)
- Shira Zluf: 74 points (48 jury, 26 public)
Therefore, Noam Bettan will represent Israel in Eurovision 2026. His song will be internally selected by March 2026.
Israel will compete in semi-final 1 of Eurovision 2026 (May 12th, 2026).
The country is allocated to perform in the second half of the show.
Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
