Denmark: Listen to The “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026” Songs

Denmark will select its song and Eurovision 2026 artist via their traditional national selection, “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026”.

Sara Bro and Alex Høgh Andersen will host the show on February 14th, 2026.
Sara will host the show for the third year in a row, while Alex will have his debut as a host.

Among the participants, we can recognize some familiar names: Sissal (represented Denmark in Eurovision 2025), Sander Sanchez (“DMGP 2020“), and Søren Torpegaard Lund (“DMGP 2023“)

“Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026” – Known Details

  1. The selection will feature one show only (The final), which will be held on Saturday, February 14th, 2026.
  2. The final will take place at Arena Nord in Frederikshavn.
  3. Sara Bro and Alex Høgh Andersen will host the show.
  4. 8 artists will participate in the selection.
  5. The results of the show will be based on a 50% public vote and a 50% jury vote. Half of the jury will be Danish, and the other half from abroad.
  6. The jury members will have experience in the music industry and a connection to the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix” and Eurovision.
  7. DR aims to run a modern and innovative show, with the glory of Eurovision. The first step was to come with a new branding and logo.
  8. DR will dedicate time and resources for creating the full package for each candidate: The artist, the song, the performance, and the staging.

Denmark will compete in semi-final 2 of Eurovision 2026 (May 14th, 2026).
The country will perform in the second half of the show

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
