Armenian broadcaster AMPTV has selected SIMÓN as its Eurovision 2026 act via an internal selection.
By announcing the Armenian entrant, the class of Eurovision 2026 has been completed with 35 shiny stars to claim the stage in Vienna.
You can watch the official music video of “Paloma Rumba“, the Armenian entry for Eurovision 2026
The lyricists are: Rosa Linn (Armenia, Eurovision 2022), David Tserunyan (The Armenian Head of Eurovision Delegation), and Eva Voskanyan. The composer of the entry is Lilit Navasardyan.
“Paloma Rumba” serves as Armenia’s vibrant anthem for Vienna, exploring the catharsis of choosing oneself over routine. The title symbolizes a “Dove’s Rumba”: a joyful, liberated dance of a spirit long confined. Through sharp lyrical wit and SIMÓN’s charismatic performance, the track charts a journey from the monotony of unfulfilling work to the exhilarating freedom of passion. It is a celebration of the exact moment we let go of our anchors to follow our own heartbeat.
