Maltese X-Factor Winner Michela Pace Will Represent Malta In Eurovision 2019

Maltese X Factor final held tonight crown17 years old Michela Pace as the first winner of the reality show.

Apart from winning an album contract with Sony Music, Michela Pace will be the Maltese representative for Eurovision song contest 2019 that will be held in Tel-Aviv this May. The song that Michela will sing on the big stage will be revealed in the next coming weeks.

The season judges did a great job and discovered many new talented artists. Howard Keith Debono mentored the girls had 2 finalists, Michela Pace and Nicole Frendo came 3rd.  Ira Losco mentored the boys represented in the final with Owen Leuellen and Ray Merciega mentored the (overs) took Petra to the final. the 4th mentor Alexandra Alden that has worked with the groups was lack to get none of her talents to the final.

X Factor Malta final results were:

  • Michela Pace – Winner
  • Owen Leuellen – 2nd place
  • Nicole Frendo – 3rd place
  • Petra – 4th place

 

In 2 days as the semifinals allocations will be held in Eurovision 2019 host city Tel-Aviv we will reveal in which semi-final Malta will perform.  Malta will be in pot No.6 together with:

  • Cyprus
  • Greece
  • Moldova
  • Romania
  • San Marino

The show is not over before the opening for the second season auditions.  It is still early to know if X-Factor malta will stay the mechanism to choose the Eurovision representative next year, but we will for sure have another full season of magical moments.
