Michael Rice Will Sing “Bigger Than Us” For The United Kingdom

Tonight, On a beautiful show from Salford, the UK has decided Michael Rice will  sing
“Bigger than us” In Tel Aviv.

“Eurovision – You Decide 2019” was once again hosted by Mel Giedroyc & Eurovision 2015 winner Måns Zelmerlöw, and 6 entries have participated (6 artists and 3 songs) :

  • Anisa – Sweet Lies
  • Kerrie-Anne – Sweet Lies
  • MAID – Freaks
  • Jordan Clarke – Freaks
  • Holly Tandy – Bigger Than Us
  • Michael Rice – Bigger Than Us

After the 1st round of performances, the jury panel consisted of X Factor contest and Eurovision 2018 BBC commentator Rylan, JLS boy-band Marvin Humes, and Mollie King from girl-band the Saturdays have decided for which version of each song qualify for the super final. the results were:

  • Kerrie-Anne – Sweet Lies
  • Jordan Clarke – Freaks
  • Michael Rice – Bigger Than Us

For the Interval act, we had performances of 2018 representative SuRie, Eurovision 2018 winner Netta, and a Eurovision Medley featuring the UK past winners Bucks Fizz and Katrina Leskanich

At the end of the super final Michael Rice – Bigger Than Us was announced as the winner of the contest and will raise the united kingdom flag in May. The BBC posted the excited winner reaction on Twitter:

As a part of the Big 5, The UK will participate automatically in Tel-Aviv’s final night on May 18th.
