Oto Nemsadze Wins “Georgian Idol” And Will Sing “Sul Tsin Iare” In Israel

Georgia held tonight the grand final of the reality show Georgian Idol and decided Oto Nemsadze will sing “Sul Tsin Iare” (Translation: Go Ahead) in Tel Aviv.

The 4 Finalists Liza Kalandadze, Giorgi Pruidze, Giorgi Nakashidze, Oto Nemsadze choose 1 song among 3 songs in the Georgian language written for them by Levan Basharuli, Roma Giorgadze, and Tamar Babilua. Tonight’s winner was chosen by 100% televoting  and these are the 4 songs participated:

  • Giorgi Nakashidze – Sul Tsin Iare
  • Giorgi Pruidze – Me Mjera
  • Liza Kalandadze – Sevdisperi Zgva
  • Oto Nemsadze – Sul Tsin Iare

 

After the songs were presented for the audience and all the votes were counted it was announced Oto Nemsadze won 234,383 votes which are 44.13% of the total votes.

In the previous rounds of “Georgian Idol”, Oto Nemsadze was the winner of week 1 and 2.  Oto also participated in season 3 of The Voice of Ukraine (2013) finishing second,  and came 10th in the Georgian selection for Eurovision 201 singing “Dear God”  with the band Limbo.
