Estonia: Here’s Everything You Need To Know About “Eesti Laul 2020”

The Estonian broadcast, ERR, has approved today their participation in the 65 Edition of the Eurovision Song Contest that is about to take place next may in Rotterdam city, The Netherlands.

ERR also confirmed that this year representative will be selected by the Estonian public through the famous National selection process “Eesti Laul“.  It is yet too early to know how many acts will participate in this year competition, but the dates for the three live shows already announced and they are as follows:

  • Semi-Final 1 on Thursday, February 13th,2020
  • Semi-Final 2 on Saturday, February 15th,2020
  • The Grand Final on Saturday, February 29th,2020

In case you feel like you have the winning song in your hands and you meet all the requirements published on ERR website, we have some great news for you as the broadcast opened a song submission window available from today and until 06.11.2019 at 12:00.

2020 will be the 27th appearance of Estonia at the Eurovision since they first debut in 1994 with Janika Sillamaa.  Last year in Tel-Aviv, Eesti Laul winner Victor Crone qualified the show’s final and was ranked 20th place, collecting a total of 76 Points.
