The Maltese broadcaster PBS will once again select its act for the Eurovision Song Contest through the reality show X-Factor.
The new season of X-Factor has started to be aired last Sunday on Malta’s television. this time on the judge’s panel: music manager Howard Keith Debono, singer Alexandra Alden, one of Malta’s best performers and songwriters Ray Mercieca and Malta’s two times Eurovision representative Ira Losco. the show’s grand final is scheduled for Saturday 8 February. that will be the day when well know whos’s the Maltese act for Rotterdam.
Last year, Malta chose its Eurovision representative for the first time through the reality show X-Factor. the season’s winner Michela Pace started to work on her entry “Chameleon” right after her winning. Michela brought Malta back in the game after two years they did not qualify for the final. “Chameleon” placed 14th scoring a total of 107 points.
