A few minutes ago, the EBU has revealed the slogan for the upcoming Eurovision song Contest 2020!
The slogan will be “Open up”, it actually calls for:
1. Open up to music which relates to the diversity of music and mainly new and special music.
2. Open Up to each other which means connecting to people and sharing feelings and thoughts
3. Open up to new ideas which means being creative and open minded
4. Open up to realness
5. Open up to Eurovision which actually invites new people to join to the magnificent Eurovision fans club.
Sietse Bakker (the Executive Producer of the Eurovision 2020 event) has explained that the slogan has been chosen according to what The Netherlands stans for, a county with an open mind to the world in which you can always express your feelings and share your thoughts. The slogan invites us to expand out limits and puts the value of freedom in the center. Moreover, the slogan is consistent with the fact that more countries take part in the competition over the years. Will “Open Op” hints for new countries for competing?
However, the artwork and logo of Eurovision 2020 haven’t been developed yet and it is expected to be exposed in December 2019 – January 2020.
