Earlier today, The Czech Republic announced on their intentions about Eurovision 2021.
The broadcaster has decided to choose internally Benny Cristo as the artist for Eurovision 2021.

You can read the official announcement of the Czech broadcaster here:

“Benny convincingly won this year’s national round, but unfortunately he did not get the opportunity to appear on the big Eurovision stage, so we decided to address him as a representative for next year as well. However, we would like to let the fans and spectators talk about what song he would represent in the coming year, because according to the rules, Kemama must not be. We will inform the audience about everything in a timely and continuous manner, “explains the development manager of Czech Television Lucie Kapounová.

The singer commented:

“I am very happy that Czech Television has given me a chance to show what is in me next year as well. I can promise all fans and spectators that I will make full use of the time I have due to world events. You have something to look forward to, “comments Benny Cristo.

Benny Cristo won the national final in 2020 with the song “Kemama”. He should have represented the Czech Republic at Eurovision 2020, competing in the second semi-final.

Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
