As the season is over and we’re just about to switch for 2021, the Eurovision week has brought many of 2020 artists to drop some extras
This time its Belgium’s trio “Hooverphonic“
The story of the band has started 25 years ago. With glorious career in their record, this year the band has finally accepted the Flemish broadcaster VRT to represent the county. the chosen softpop-ballad for Rotterdam “Release Me” was written by the band member Alex Callier and Luca Chiaravalli.
Today, the band has released Two different interpretations of the song. a Techno club dance remix on one hand , and with zeitgeist on the other, an acoustic home performance.
Lucky for us, our story with the band is far from being over and VRT needed no time for ponder. Meaning that Hooverphonic will be back to represent Belgium in 2021 with a new song. Could the simultaneously release of “release me” came as a direction test for the band’s next song for Eurovision? Tell us what you think on our social!
