Junior Eurovision 2020: Ukraine Reveals the 11 Finalists

Ukraine continues preparing for the Junior Eurovision 2020 with “Дитяче Євробачення – Національний відбір” (Eng: Junior Eurovision – National Selection).
At the beginning, 70 candidates have submitted and have been accepted by the Ukrainian broadcaster.
Some of the participants submitted a cover, and some of them submitted an original song.
8 of the finalists submitted an original song, 2 of them submitted a cover and the remaining one is the participant whose his video has the largest amount of likes on YouTube.

The 11 finalists are:

Oleksandr Balabanov

Yulia Karimi


Yaroslav Polytov (YAR POLITOV)


Olena Usenko (Ellen)

Sofiya Shkidchenko

Nikita Akhkasov

Darin Ottoman

Daniela Hapochnikova

The winner of the national final will be determined by 50% jury voting and 50% online public voting.
The voting will be open between 5th and 8th September. The results will be announced  between 9th and 12th September.

The 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will stay in Poland as of last winner’s winner Viki Gabor. there 13 countries (confirmed for the moment) will #MoveTheWorld together on the night of November 29th and a new star will be born.
