Russia Confirms Participation At Eurovision 2021

The Russian broadcaster Russia Channel 1 confirms that Russia will participate at Eurovision 2021.

Russia should have been represented by the successful band “Little Big” with the song “Uno” at Eurovision 2020. However, Eurovision 2020 was cancelled due to the Corona virus.
The song became a fan-favorite with more than 150 million views on YouTube:

What About Eurovision 2021?
In Russia, there are 2 active broadcasters: RTR and Russia Channel 1. Each of them get the full responsibility of the Eurovision act in another year. IN 2020, it was the turn of Russia Channel 1.
However, the cancellation of Eurovision 2020, made Russia Channel be responsible for Russia’s participation in 2021.
It is steal unknown whether Russia will select Little Big to represent them at Eurovision 2021.

However, from the record of Russia participation in last years, we can learn that the broadcaster will use an internal selection behind closed doors. Moreover, we can expect that Russia will be one of the last countries to reveal the entry for Eurovision 2021.
