Lithuania will select their artist and song for Eurovision 2021 via the mechanism of “Pabandom iÅ¡ naujo! (“Let’s try again!”) . This is the new format of the Lithuanian selection since 2020.
The selected acts for 2021 national selection haven’t been reveled yet.
The Roop won the national selection for Eurovision 2020 with the iconic song “On Fire“.
The song was a huge fan favorite and may lead Lithuania to their one of best score
The broadcaster decided to hold a national selection. However, it has been already declared that “The Roop” will have a spot in the grand final of “Pabandom iÅ¡ naujo 2021! , if they choose to compete again.
Things became more clear today, as the following post appeared on the Instagram page of the band:
The question we were hearing since spring will be answered now – we decided to take part in the National Eurovision selection. We have a song and we have a vision. Let’s hope it will become Euro-vision.
Therefore we can infer that The Roop will try their luck to represent Lithuanian at Eurovision 2021
