How will the national final work?
The results will be determined by 2 rounds of voting:
First Round – All of the 12 artists will perform their songs. The top 7 artists will advance for the second round (a kind of “Super-final”). The jury panel will have an option to give a wild-card to another artist , so the second-round will consist of 8 acts.
Second Round – The results will be determined by jury voting and public voting.
The jury panel will include 10 persons:
Marie Myriam who won Eurovision 1977 for France, Eurovision 2019 winner Duncan Laurence, France 2001 representative Natasha St Pier, Elodie Gossuin who was miss France 2001 and was the spokesperson for France at Eurovision for several years, singer Chimène Badi who participated in 2019 national selection, singer André Manoukian, Jean-Paul Gaultier a French designer who will also design the staging for the selected act, actress Michelle Bernier, singer and actor Agustin Galiana, and Eurovision 2016 rep Amir Hadad who would be the president of the jury
