Exciting news from North Macedonia: The singer Vasil Gervanliev will perform the song “Here I Am” at Eurovision 2021.
The singer posted the news on his Twitter account:
We already know that the song was written or co-written by Vasil Gervanliev himself.
However, his team for Eurovision 2021 includes the following people:
#1. Borče Kuzmanovski
Borče is known in North Macedonia as the keyboardist of the group Knockout and a multi-instrumentalist who collaborates with almost all big names from the national pop, rock, jazz and alternative scene.
He works as a producer and sound engineer, with a portfolio that includes more than 500 music works for film, theater, radio drama, promo videos, trailers, and collaborates with national and international music and sample corporations.
#2. Davor Jordanovski
Davor has been building a successful career in Canada for twenty years as a performer, composer and producer, in his own projects with other prominent musicians. He has published several original albums.
His field of action is quite wide, from pop and jazz music, through film and classical, to ambient, R&B and contemporary music. His work as a composer and producer includes companies such as Sony, BMG, Westar Music, Sound Ideas, MDScoring.

In the middle of the chaos and whirlwind of disappointments last year, I wrote “Here I Stand” in one breath without any specific aim or focus.
I think it rose out of one of those special and rare moments in life when you are at one with yourself: able to let emotions flow in their purest form without self judgment, freely and sincerely..
I am deeply honored that I will have the opportunity to represent Macedonia at Eurovision with a song inspired by my personal journey. They say that every human being carries at least one song within themselves. “Here I Stand” is that song for me. I can hardly wait to perform it for you on the Eurovision stage!

Vasil was internally selected to represent North Macedonia at Eurovision 2021 by the national broadcaster after he was internally selected for Eurovision 2020 (which was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic).
The song will probably be released at the beginning of March 2021
North Macedonia will compete in the first half of semi-final 1 at Eurovision 2021
