Romania:Roxen song for Eurovison 2021 will be released on 4th of March.

Roxen previously won ”Selecția Națională 2020” with the song ”Alcohol You” and meant to represent Romania at Eurovison Song Contest 2020.Romanian broadcaster decided to internally select Roxen again to represent Romania at Eurovison Song Contest 2021.

This morning Liana Stanciu who is Head of Delegation of Romania announced that Roxen will release song at 4th of March 2021.

Roxen have written 6 songs and submitted to Jury to pick the song. The jury members are:

Luminiţa Anghel – Romanian representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2005
Andrei Tudor – Composer and author of Romanian entry at Eurovision 2008
Liana Stanciu – Head of Romanian Delegation
Lucian Ștefan – Global Records
Bogdan Păun – Director and Founder of NGM Creative
Bogdan Pavlică – Playlist manager and director of Top Music at RRA
Liviu Elekes – Composer, Producer, Multi-instrumentalist, Music director
Gabriel Scîrlet – Music Director at TVR
Dan Manoliu – Producer and Artistic Director

We also got some hints what the title would be for Romanian entry at Eurovison 2021. Roxen posted ”A” at biggest Romanian Facebook group. Indicating that this a hint to Eurovison entry. Some Eurovison fans suggest that song will be called ”Alien”.

Also from Roxen we got idea what’s the message of the song from her Instagram post. This message is about bullying and you are not alone in that jury.

Roxen is working hard to provide us with best song to represent Romania at Eurovison Song Contest 2021.

Romania is set to participate at 2nd half of semi final 1 at Eurovison Song Contest 2021.
