Ukraine’s national broadcaster Suspile has announced that national selection to select their entry at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place of using pre-recorded live performances.
Due to rapid increase of epidemiological situation in Ukraine, broadcaster has changed the format of the finals for selection so won’t put hopefuls and their parents in the risk. The decision was made on 13th October 2021 with meeting of the board of the broadcaster.
Finalists will have pre-recorded live format of the original songs or written songs to those who doesn’t have yet.
Broadcaster will record the performances of the finalists in same conditions for all finalists that scheduled time to record the live performance will be designed to minimized the contact and ensure the saftest possible health for each participant.
Winner of national selection will be determined by results of 50% jury voting and 50% online voting which were users must log in through their Facebook or Instagram accounts. Online voting will open after all performances will be seen.
National selection will be broadcasted UA:Kultura on 23rd October 2021.
